As one of the leading manufacturers of glass sealed units, Techniglass pride themselves on the quality, value, service and innovation they offer.  We offer a one-stop shopping experience to medium to large window/conservatory installers and trade outlets throughout the UK.

With the strength of the MASCO Corporation behind them, Techniglass has the added benefit of an excellent route to market for our products that we are now keen to take advantage of through a strong, self-motivated, team focused sales manager.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidates role will include developing and securing profitable sales of Techniglass products whilst continuously raising the profile of the company within the sector.

 

Remuneration & Benefits:

 

Up to £30,000 + benefits.

Location:

 

Due to the geography of the Techniglass customer base you will ideally be living on the M4/M5 corridor to allow easy access to the Midlands, South Wales and South West territories.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

 

The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to undertake and attend all organised training sessions both on and off site.  You will absorb Techniglass and other competitors' products on offer in the market.  You will understand the self-responsibility to gain additional knowledge and participate in quarterly performance reviews with the line manager.

 

Other Notes:

 

Main duties will include:

  • Maximising and utilising time to the best effect.
  • Keeping and maintaining company records.
  • Preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports ensuring on time submission.
  • Maintaining the appropriate use of company property - car, laptop and mobile phone.
  • Acquiring and developing product knowledge to help maximise selling prices and profitability.
  • Performing to professional standards at all times and achieve an agreed number of business calls per day.
  • Working with internal personnel in the pursuit of profitable business.
  • Liasing effectively with other Departments.
  • Carrying out reasonable tasks as directed by the Managing Director.
