Job Title:

Estimating Manager

Reporting To:

Business Unit Manager

Basic Job Description:

To manage the architectural aluminium estimating department, to vet and oversee the quality and conciseness of tenders and quotations.  Provide pricing support to sales and surveying personnel.  Be responsible for large project quotations, circa £1-2m.  Work closely with systems companies by providing cost effective solutions.

Remuneration & Benefits:

Salary £30k to £35k dependant upon experience.  Company car or car allowance.  Divisional bonus scheme.  Conributory pension.

Location:

Position is based in Aberdeen.

Qualifications & Experience:

Good knowledge and experience of architectural aluminium systems, windows, doors, curtain walling, roof glazing and facades.  Computer literate and knowledge of using bespoke software packages, coupled to integrated spreadsheets.

Other Notes:

Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings a pre-requisite.  An understanding of contract conditions and attendance at pre-award meeting is also required.
